Uranchimegiin Mönkh-Erdene ( Mongolian Уранчимэгийн Мөнх-Эрдэнэ * 20th March 1982 in Arvaikheer , Övörkhangai Province ) is a Mongolian boxer in the Light Welterweight . Career

At the age of 17, Mönch-Erdene took part in the 1999 Asian Championships for the first time. He was eliminated in the bantamweight (-54 kg) but started in the quarterfinals against the later runner-up Talaibek Kadyraliev, Kyrgyzstan (13: 6). It was not until 2002 that he was seen again at the Asian Championships when he started, this time in the featherweight (-57 kg), after two victories in the semifinals against Suttisak Samaksaman, Thailand , lost and won the bronze medal.
