Éverton Dos Santos Lopes (* 8. August 1988 in Salvador da Bahia ) is a former Brazilian professional boxer in the lightweight . As an amateur, he was world champion in 2011 and an Olympian in 2008 and 2012.

Amateur career

National

Éverton Lopes is the Brazilian lightweight champion in 2006, 2007 and 2009, as well as the Brazilian light welterweight champion in 2012.

America

In 2006 he won the gold medal in the lightweight at the Pan American Junior Championships in Argentina and the silver medal at the South American Games , which were also held in Argentina , when he was only defeated in the final against the future professional world champion Darleys Pérez .
