Boxing at the Pan American Games
The boxing competitions at the Pan American Games are the most important American boxing competitions alongside the Pan American championships . They have been held every four years since 1951 and are organized by AIBA . The first competitions in which there were only Argentine gold medalists were held in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires in 8 weight classes. Boxing has been in 10 weight classes since 2011.
