The community of Hahnstätten was an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional authority in the Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate . The municipality included ten separate local churches at the administrative headquarters was in the eponymous municipality Hahnstatten . On July 1, 2019, the municipalities of Katzenelnbogen and Hahnstätten merged to form the municipality of Aar-Einrich .

Association municipal council
The last Hahnstätten municipal council consisted of 24 voluntary council members who were elected in a personalized proportional representation in the local elections on May 25, 2014 , and the full-time mayor as chairman.
