The Vienna Comic Con ( VIECC ) is an annual comic and entertainment fair, which is held in the Messe Wien .
history
The fair was held for the first time in 2015 and was attended by a total of 17,000 visitors. In the following years the number rose to over 26,000 visitors. Since 2017, the final round of Austria's largest League of Legends tournament (Vienna Challengers Arena) has also been held at VIECC . In 2018 the VCA was the official tour stop of the Riot Games League of Legends Premier Tour for the first time and it was played for prize money of over 25,000 euros.
