Virtua Tennis ( Power Smash in Japan) is a tennis game released in 1999. The game developed by Hitmaker (formerly AM3), which is closely related to Sega , was first published as an arcade version . In 2000 a version for the Dreamcast was released . A port to Windows followed in 2002 and a special version for the Nokia N-Gage was released in 2003 .

Game flow

It is a relatively simple tennis game. The arcade version had only a few game modes, such as a tournament game. A career mode was implemented from the console implementation. In contrast to the original, the implementations could be operated by up to four players instead of two. In addition to the movement buttons, the game only needs two other buttons and can therefore be learned very quickly.

Tennis player

Several well-known tennis players have been licensed for the game. There was no women's tennis at all.
