The gaming and entertainment company behind WINWIN is a subsidiary of Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries . Founded in 2004, WINWIN now offers games on so-called Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) at 16 locations in Austria.

Admission is free and allowed from 18 years of age. The WINWIN outlets are open 364 days a year, they are only closed on December 24th. There is no obligation to wear a suit or tie. The leisure offer is rounded off by a bar, small snacks and events with live music.

Game offer

Video lottery terminals are visually similar to the classic slot machines of the casino, but differ from them in the game mechanics. While every slot machine decides independently by random generator about profit and loss, with VLTs this decision is made by the random generator of a central computer. The central computer then transmits the results to the individual terminals by telecommunication.

At each location there are between 12 and 50 terminals with up to 35 different games per terminal. The games on these terminals are electronic lotteries which, in accordance with Section 12a of the Gambling Act, are draws for which the gaming contract is concluded via electronic media. The decision on profit and loss is made centrally. The game participant receives the result of this decision immediately after participating in the game.

Bet and winnings

You can already participate in the game with a stake of 10 cents. The maximum stake is 10 euros. Stakes are made with tickets or with banknotes, but without coins. In the event of a win, the terminal prints a ticket, which is paid out at the cash desk either in cash, as a check or in the form of a bank transfer. The maximum prize is 10,000 euros.

Introduction of the player card

In January 2015, the registration and introduction of the player card for all WINWIN outlets became a legal requirement. Entering the play area and playing on the VLT is only possible with an active WINWIN Card.

Registration takes place on the first visit using a valid photo ID, after which you are enabled to play at the video lottery terminals.

During the game, the guest is informed of the duration of his game after 60 and 90 minutes and asked whether he would like to continue playing. After 120 minutes there is a 5-minute cool-down phase, after which you can be activated again for the game on the VLT.

Locations

There are 20 WINWIN locations in four different federal states:
