Waltraud Munz
Waltraud Munz-Heiliger (* 1949 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German artist .
Life
Waltraud Munz-Heiliger studied from 1971 to 1973 at the Free Art School Stuttgart - Academy for Art and Design with Gerd Neisser . In 1972/1973 he studied art history and philosophy at the University of Stuttgart with Robert Spaemann and Max Bense . From 1975 to 1977 Waltraud Munz-Heiliger continued her artistic studies with Harry Kögler at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe . From 1977 to 1980 she studied painting with Johannes Schreiter and Raimer Jochims as well as photography with Abisag Tüllmann at the State University of Fine Arts - Städelschule . Waltraud Munz-Heiliger was a lecturer at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main from 1983 to 1985.
Waltraud Munz-Heiliger lives and works near Frankfurt am Main and is an invited discussant and speaker at international symposia on the relationship between literature and art . At the center of her work is the identity-forming character of the room, not only as a geometric but also as an aesthetic, sensual and social phenomenon.
