Woe to Fledder
The Weher Fledder nature reserve is located in the town of Rahden in the Minden-Lübbecke district . It is around 66.9 hectares and is listed under the designation MI-010.
location
The area is located in the north of the village of Wehe , east of the Kleine Aue , which flows into the Große Aue approx. 2.5 km north of the area , and west of the state border with Lower Saxony .
meaning
It was placed under protection because of the rarity and special character of the area and to maintain and restore communities as a refuge for threatened and endangered wild animal and plant species .
