The Military District VII (Munich) was a military administrative unit during the time of the Weimar Republic and later the National Socialist German Reich and was from 1920 to 1945. He initially covered the entire right bank of Bavaria. After the separation of military district XIII (Nuremberg) in 1937, he was responsible for the military security of the area of ​​the Bavarian administrative districts of Swabia , Upper Bavaria , Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate as well as providing replacement and training for parts of the Wehrmacht in the military district area .
