Werner HA Debler

Werner HA Debler (born December 26, 1940 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † September 27, 2014 ) was a German pedagogue , administrative officer and local researcher .

Live and act

Debler was a descendant of the Schwäbisch Gmünder patrician family Debler. After graduating from high school , Debler studied education with English, French and geography at the Universities of Tübingen and Freiburg and at the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education . He worked as a secondary school teacher in Aalen , Unterschneidheim , Abtsgmünd and Schwäbisch Gmünd, became a specialist geography consultant in 1974 and secondary school principal in 1978 . In 1980 Debler was appointed school councilor and school authority director at the State Education Authority Schwäbisch Gmünd for the Realschule department, and in 1990 he was delegated to the Ministry of Culture and Sport in Baden-Württemberg . From 1993 until his retirement in 2005 Debler was director of the state seminar for didactics and teacher training for secondary schools in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
