Westville is a city in Holmes County in the US state of Florida with 289 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Westville is on the west bank of the Choctawhatchee River and about 15 km west of Bonifay . Pensacola is 150 km and Tallahassee is 160 km away.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 289 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 146 households. The population density was 15.4 inh / km². 96.5% of the population identified themselves as white and 0.3% as African American . 3.1% said they belonged to several ethnic groups. 1.7% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 there were children under the age of 18 in 37.3% of all households and persons aged 65 and over in 29.1% of all households. 73.6% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.63 people and the average family size was 3.04 people.

28.4% of the population were younger than 20 years, 23.8% were 20 to 39 years old, 26.6% were 40 to 59 years old, and 21.1% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 38 years. 48.1% of the population were male and 51.9% were female.
