What is love? is the fifth mini-album by the South Korean girl group Twice . It was released on April 9, 2018 together with the single of the same name. The album was produced by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young .

On February 26, 2018, JYP Entertainment announced that Twice would be working on a new album. The publication is planned for April. However, an exact date was not yet given at this point in time. One month later, on March 24th, April 9th ​​was given as the release date. Subsequently, teaser photos, the track list and other information such as the cover design of the CD were published daily .

JYP Entertainment announced on April 3rd that it had already 350,000 pre-orders for What Is Love? were registered, which meant a new record for the group.

On April 9, What Is Love? together with the single of the same name for download. The CDs hit stores a day later.
