Willi Kissmer

Willi Kissmer (born December 21, 1951 in Duisburg ; † July 27, 2018 there ) was a German rock musician and painter .

Life

During his studies in graphic design in Essen, Willi Kissmer also worked as a rock musician and as a guitarist he founded the Duisburg band Bröselmaschine together with Peter Bursch and others . After his studies, various study trips took him to Egypt , Greece , Italy , the Soviet Union , South America and Turkey, among others .

In 1980 he ended his career as a rock musician and turned to painting. His paintings, etchings and art prints have been exhibited internationally.

From 2005 to 2008 he played again with Bröselmaschine .
