William Terrence McGrattan (born September 19, 1956 in London , Ontario ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Calgary .

Life

William Terrence McGrattan was ordained a priest on May 2, 1987 for the Diocese of London, Ontario .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 6, 2009 titular bishop of Furnos Minor and auxiliary bishop in Toronto . The Bishop of London, Ronald Peter Fabbro CSB , ordained him episcopal on January 12 the next year ; Co- consecrators were Murray Chatlain , Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith , and John Michael Sherlock , Old Bishop of London. As a motto he chose HABE FIDUCIAM IN DOMINO .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Peterborough on April 8, 2014 . The inauguration took place on June 23 of the same year.

On January 4, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Calgary . The inauguration took place on February 27 of the same year.
