Winter sports world cup in Ramsau
This article deals with the winter sports world cups in Ramsau , which take place in various winter sports disciplines. The highlight was the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 , which was held here.
Sports facilities
Ski jump
The ski jump in Ramsau is a normal hill with a hill size of 98 meters and a K point of 90 meters. It was built in 1995 for the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 . The hill record of 101 meters from 2005 is held by the Japanese Daito Takahashi . Since the Nordic World Ski Championships also include jumping on the large hill, the competitions on this type of jump had to be relocated to the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen .
Cross-country skiing
In cross-country skiing , World Cup races have been held in Ramsau since the 1983/84 season for men and 1986/87 for women.

In Nordic Combined , World Cup competitions have been taking place on the K90 hill and on the cross-country ski run since the 1997/98 season .

World Cup events in ski jumping were held twice on the K90 hill and each was won by the Japanese. In the current World Cup calendars, normal hills are no longer in the program.
