Scientist of the Year
The scientist of the year has been awarded annually in Austria since 1994 by the local club of education and science journalists to researchers who "have made a special contribution to the easily understandable communication of their work and thus also raised the image of Austrian research among the general public" . The club has over 150 members who represent all of Austria's major media.
