The Wolseley 15/40 was a car of the lower middle class , the Wolseley 1921 as a successor to the smaller Wolseley 16/20 could say.

It had a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2614 cm³, overhead camshaft (OHC) and water cooling. The car was delivered on a chassis with a 2997 mm wheelbase. The superstructures were 4013 mm long.

In 1925, production was discontinued in favor of the 16/35 with side-controlled motor.
