Wujiaqu ( Chinese  五 家 渠 市 , Pinyin Wǔjiāqú shì ; Uighur ۋۇجياچۈ شەھىرى, Wujyaqü Xəⱨiri ) is a district- free city in the north of the Uyghur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang in the People's Republic of China and is directly subordinate to the regional government (and not like other independent cities at the district level) . It lies north of Urumqi . The urban area has an area of ​​710 square kilometers and a population of 116,000 (2005).

Administrative structure

At the community level, Wujiaqu consists of three street districts and three production and construction corps. These are:

  • Junkenlu street district (军垦 路 街道);
  • Qinghulu Street District (青 湖路 街道);
  • Renminlu Street District (人民 路 街道);
  • Production and Reconstruction Corps No. 101 (兵团 一 零 一 团);
  • Production and Reconstruction Corps No. 102 (兵团 一 零二 团);
  • Production and Reconstruction Corps No. 103 (兵团 一 零三 团).
