Yomou is a prefecture in the Nzérékoré region in Guinea with about 86,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean prefectures, it is named after its capital, Yomou .

The prefecture is located in the southeast of the country, on the border with Liberia , and covers an area of ​​6,000 km².
