Yunfu ( Chinese  雲浮 市  /  云浮 市 , Pinyin Yúnfú shì ) is a district-free city in the west of the southern Chinese province of Guangdong .

At the county level, Yunfu is made up of two districts , one urban district and two counties. These are:

  • (1) Yuncheng District (云 城区), 762 km², 280,000 inhabitants;
  • (3) Yun'an district (云 安 区), 1,231 km², 310,000 inhabitants, main town: Liudu municipality (六 都 镇);
  • (4) Xinxing County (新兴县), 1,520 km², 450,000 inhabitants, capital: Xincheng Township (新 城镇);
  • (5) Yunan District (郁南县), 1,966 km², 480,000 inhabitants, capital: Ducheng municipality (都 城镇);
  • (2) City of Luoding (罗 定 市), 2,300 km², 1.09 million inhabitants.

Yunfu is located in western Guangdong . It borders the Guangxi Autonomous Region to the west, Zhaoqing to the north and northeast , Foshan to the east, and Jiangmen , Yangjiang and Maoming to the south .

The places Yunan and Yun'an are on the Xijiang (西江), which forms part of the border with Zhaoqing .

The climate in Yunfu is subtropical and oceanic.

The average temperature in January is 12.9 ° C and in July 28.5 ° C. With a rainfall of 1600 mm / year, Yunfu is one of the driest places in Guangdong.
