Dorival Knippel Yustrich (born September 28, 1917 in Corumbá , MS ; † February 15, 1990 in Belo Horizonte , Minas Gerais ) was a Brazilian football player and coach .
Career
In his career as a player he was mainly active for Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . For this he is said to have played 199 games.
He began his coaching career promisingly. With only two years of coaching experience at Atlético Mineiro , he was signed by FC Porto . With this he also won the biggest titles of his career with the championship and the cup victory. He then returned to Brazil, where he rarely coached a club for more than a season, but limited himself to a few clubs.
At the end of 1968 he coached the Brazilian national team for a game against Yugoslavia, where he was even sent off. The game could be won 3-2. In September 1969 he coached a selection team made up of players from the Association of Minas Gerais , which ran up as a friendly opponent of the Brazilian national team. This team consisted only of players from the América Mineiro he trained . They won the game 2-1.
