Záhorská Bystrica (German Bisternitz , Hungarian Pozsonybeszterce - until 1907 Beszterce ) is a district in the north of Bratislava at the foot of the Little Carpathians .

Description and history

Peter and Paul Church

The place was mentioned for the first time in 1208 as Bisztric and was strongly influenced by the arrival of Croatian settlers from 1520 onwards . On January 1, 1972, it came to the city of Bratislava as a district.
