Zhang Hao ( Chinese  张昊 , Pinyin Zhāng Hào ; * July 20, 1989 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who has been playing in the Wysschaja Hockey League at KRS-ORG Beijing since 2018 .

Career

Zhang Hao began his career as a hockey player on regional Chinese teams. He played in a higher class for the first time with China Dragon , for whose professional team he made his debut in the multinational Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2009/10 season . In 2014 he joined the Harbin amateur team , for which he played in the Chinese Ice Hockey League. After playing for Tsen Tou Jilin in the Russian Wysschaja Hockey League in 2017/18 , he moved to league rivals KRS-ORG Beijing for the following season .

International

For China , Zhang Hao took part in the junior division in the U18 World Junior Championship in Division II in 2008 and 2009 and in the U20 World Junior Championship in Division II in 2009 .

In the senior division, the striker was part of China's squad at the World Championships of Division II in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 , 2018 and 2019 . In 2014 he acted as the team captain of the team from the Middle Kingdom. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and the Winter Asian Games 2017 .
