history

Very little is known about the history of Ziegelhütte. Due to its proximity to the Wenceslas mill and Krautheim, Ziegelhütte was probably part of the castellian sphere of influence. In the course of the mediation , the brickworks was assigned to the municipality of Krautheim in the Volkach district court . In 1977 she came to Volkach together with Krautheim. Lime was broken and burned there until after the Second World War.
