Zippelsförde is an inhabited part of the municipality in the Krangen district of the city of Neuruppin ( Ostprignitz-Ruppin district , Brandenburg). The place is about ten kilometers northeast of the Neuruppin city center.
history
People lived in Zippelsförde as early as Slavic and early German times. In 1525 the place was called Tibsförde , from 1530 Zeipolsforde . In the Middle Ages there was a small village and a castle or hunting lodge here. From 1759 a fulling and cutting mill was located here on the Rhin . After Carl Friedrich Kohlbach bought this mill in 1849, he had it converted into a powder mill . This mill exploded in 1851 and the remains were removed. In 1860 there were eight houses and 14 farm buildings here. Except for a farm building, nothing remains of the buildings from this period.
The hunting lodge
The Grade II listed hunting lodge in Zippelsförde was from 1912 to 1914 in Homeland Security style built. Colonel Spickermann lived here until 1927, when the entrepreneur Moritz Schulze bought the house. In 1991 the hunting lodge became an environmental meeting place.
The hunting lodge is a single-storey building with a half-hip roof. There are risalits on the long sides . The roof tiles, windows and doors are from the construction period at the beginning of the 20th century. The summer house is a two-story house with a gable roof. There are central projections on the elongated sides.
The hunting lodge and the summer house are in a park. There are old trees here, including beech , oak , spruce and hemlock . In addition to newer plantings, there is also wild growth in the park. After 1992 the park was changed and a playground was created.
