Lichtenberg is a district of the district town of Neuruppin in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . The village is located southeast of the central city of Neuruppin on the country road L 167. West of the 807 extends ha large Lake Ruppin , east runs the L 164th

Incorporations
On December 6, 1993, the new city of Neuruppin was formed from the municipalities of Buskow , Gnewikow , Gühlen-Glienicke , Karwe , Krangen , Lichtenberg, Molchow , Nietwerder , Radensleben , Stöffin , Wulkow and Wuthenow and the city of Alt Ruppin . Since then, Lichtenberg has been part of the city of Neuruppin.
Attractions
In the list of architectural monuments in Neuruppin , two architectural monuments are listed for Lichtenberg :
- The village church , originally built in the second half of the 13th century, is a hall building . The integrated, boarded-up tower has a pyramid roof , the church has a gable roof . In 1846 the sacristy was added and the gallery and stalls built in. The altarpiece is from the second half of the 17th century.
