occupation

Zoom - Academy for Superheroes is a superhero comedy in which the aging Jack, who used to be the superhero Zoom, is supposed to train a new superhero troop.

action

Cindy (6), Tucker (12), Summer (16) and Dylan (17) have special skills: Cindy can easily lift objects weighing tons, Tucker can enlarge his body extremities, Summer can read minds and move objects through mental powers and Dylan can move invisible and has clairvoyant abilities.

The former superhero Jack is supposed to train the four children to be superheroes. At first he has little desire and does not take the assignment seriously. For example, he flies with the children in a flying saucer to a burger restaurant to buy something to eat. When he realizes that his troops at the time lacked a sense of togetherness, he decides to weld the children together into a "family" - which he succeeds with with the help of the psychologist Marsha.

The real reason for the training campaign is unknown to Jack. His troops were then exposed to gamma-13 rays to give them superpowers. However, Jack's brother Connor became a villain. For many years everyone thought him dead, but now he wants to return and wreak havoc on earth. The newly trained superheroes are supposed to stop him. To make sure that the children's powers are really sufficient, General Larraby wants to irradiate them with gamma-13 rays as well. When Jack finds out, he escapes with the children and fights his brother on his own, rediscovering his superpowers. In the end they manage to stop Connor. Conner becomes a superhero again and is reconciled with his brother.
