Zuzana Tryznová (born October 8, 1984 in Jablonec nad Nisou ) is a Czech biathlete .

Zuzana Tryznová is a student and lives in Jablonec nad Nisou. She has been practicing biathlon since 2002 and has been a member of the Czech national team since 2005. She is trained by Petr Graclík and starts for the SKP Jymbolx Jablonec nN

Tryznová made his debut in Kościelisko in 2003 at the international level at the Junior World Championships. The best result was sixth place in the sprint. It was less successful at the subsequent European Junior Championships, where the Czech did not get beyond ranks in the 30s. The following year, she achieved her best result in fourth in the relay at the Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne , the individual races were less successful, the best result was eleventh place in the sprint. In the summer of the year Tryznová started at the Junior World Championships in Summer Biathlon in Osrblie and achieved seventh place with the relay as the best result. For the following season 2004/05, she made her debut in the Junior European Cup, but only achieved once, in 2005 as ninth in the pursuit in Langdorf, a result among the top ten. At the Junior European Championships 2005 in Novosibirsk she finished between eleven and 13th. Her last Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti did not bring any results worth mentioning.

For the 2005/06 season Tryznová made her debut in the European Biathlon Cup . Her first race was an individual in Obertilliach , which she finished in 46th. Shortly afterwards she won her first European Cup point in the sprint as 30th. In Altenberg in 2006, the Czech was sixth in the sprint and was placed in the top ten for the first time. It is Tryznová's best result so far in a pure European Cup race. Then she was able to make her debut in the biathlon world cup in a sprint race in Antholz and was 73rd. In 2007 she was nominated for the first time for biathlon world championships . In Antholz she finished 77th in the individual, was 49th in the sprint, which is also her best result in a World Cup race, and was lapped out of the competition in the pursuit race. The European Championships in Bansko were only slightly better , where 29th place in the pursuit was the athlete's best result. In the 2007/08 season Tryznová started regularly in the World Cup. The highlight of the season was once again the biathlon world championships , which were held in Östersund in 2008 . She was 60th in the individual, 86th in the sprint and 16th with the Czech relay. The EM in Nové Město was more successful . After Tryznová had finished 40th in the individual, she won the silver medal in the sprint behind Oxana Jakowljewa . In the pursuit race she dropped back to eleventh place. In Pyeongchang she was able to start again at the World Championships in 2009 and finished 74th in the individual and 70th in the sprint.
