The water supply association of the Reckenberg Group ( RBG for short ) is a public corporation with its seat in Gunzenhausen in Central Franconia . The task of the association is to ensure the drinking water supply as well as the supra-local supply in the northern Bavarian compensation and network system. The name comes from the 518.7 m high Reckenberg south of Kalbensteinberg . The association was founded on July 15, 1963 by nine municipalities. The Reckenberg Group employs 41 people.

All municipalities together cover an area of ​​750 km². Around 140,000 people are supplied directly or indirectly via water distributors by the Reckenberg Group.
