This is a chronological list of teams that have been WWE Tag Team Champions by ring name. The WWE Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship in World Wrestling Entertainment. Currently, it is exclusive to the SmackDown! brand, though its current holders are representatives of the ECW brand. There have been a total of 32 recognized individual champions and 20 recognized teams, who have had a combined 25 official reigns.
