  • A part of "Points of Authority" was featured in the film Little Nicky.
  • "Figure.09" was featured in the 2003 film S.W.A.T..
  • "Faint" was featured in the 2004 film Collateral.
  • "Numb/Encore" was featured in the theatrical preview, and at the beginning of the 2006 film Miami Vice.
  • "One Step Closer" was featured in the 2000 film Dracula 2000.
  • "One Step Closer" was also featured in the 2000 film German film Das Experiment.
  • "One Step Closer" was featured on the CD "ECW Anarchy Rocks", a compilation of entrance music of ECW wrestlers, and was used as the entrance music of Nova.
  • "Pushing Me Away" was featured in the film Valentine.
  • "Somewhere I Belong" was featured in a National Geographic ad for its "Cats of Prey" program.
  • "Opening" from Reanimation was featured on CNN on an Iraq story.

  • An instrumental that is extremely similar-sounding to "Numb" was featured in a video package in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling highlighting the heavy feud between NWA Tag Team Champions at the time Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles with LAX. As is common in wrestling, a similar-sounding instrumental is used to avoid paying fees to the original artists.
  • "Somewhere I Belong" was also featured in the NBA All-Star Game.
  • "Numb" has been featured in adverts on British Television for HMV/Virgin.
  • "Cure for the Itch" was in the Red vs Blue Movie also with the beginning of "Crawling Reanimation" and the beginning of "A Place My Head".
  • "What I've Done" was used by the Atlanta Braves to open a game.
  • "What I've Done" was used in a TV promo for the 2007 film Transformers
  • The intro for "No More Sorrow" was used for an NBA 2007 Playoff commercial.
  • The song "Bleed It Out" was also used for promotional purposes before the game between New York Mets and New York Yankees.
