One More Light ( English for "Another Light") is the seventh studio album by the Californian rock band Linkin Park . It was published on 19 May 2017 and is the last studio album of the band, on which its lead singer Chester Bennington was involved, the 2,017 in July suicide committed.

Origin and background

One More Light was produced by Linkin Park members Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson and recorded at Larrabee Sound Studios and Sphere Studios in Los Angeles .

The production process was structured differently than on previous albums by the band. According to Mike Shinoda, the first thing to do was write the vocals and chords, "then make sure every song sounds cool." One More Light is one of the band's most personal albums. Chester Bennington said it was about things "that only my wife and closest friends know." He wanted to address people "who have been through the same things as me, and it feels better to know that you are not alone".
