Live in Texas is the first live and video album by the American nu-metal band Linkin Park . It was released on November 18, 2003 on the Machine Shop Recordings and Warner Bros. Records labels .

The songs on the album were recorded during two live performances by the band on August 2 and 3, 2003 at NRG Stadium , Houston and Texas Stadium , Irving, respectively. The songs played come from the two previously released studio albums Hybrid Theory (six or nine tracks) and Meteora (five or seven pieces). In addition, the title P5hng Me A * wy from the remix album Reanimation is included on the sound carrier. The intermediate part in One Step Closer and - in the case of the DVD - the music in the verses of With You also come from the album Reanimation .

Live in Texas entered the German charts at number 9 on December 8, 2003, and in the following weeks it was at number 23, 28 and 19. Overall, the album was able to stay in the top 100 for 24 weeks. In the United States, the record reached position 23 and stayed on the charts for 35 weeks.
Sales figures and awards
For over 300,000 copies sold, Live in Texas was awarded triple gold in Germany in 2008 . The album went platinum for more than one million sales in Europe and the United States . The sound carrier also received a gold record in Austria and Great Britain.
