Újezd ​​nad Zbečnem (German Aujest bei Sbetschno , formerly Augezd ob Zbetschno ) is a district of Zbečno in the Czech Republic . It is located half a kilometer west of Zbečno and belongs to the Okres Rakovník .

Újezd nad Zbečnem is located in the highlands Křivoklátská in the conservation area Křivoklátsko . The village is opposite Zbečno and the confluence of the Klíčava on the right bank of the Berounka . The Javůrek (445 m) and the Novina (390 m) rise to the north, the Jalový (450 m) in the northeast, the Pěnčína (416 m), Koza (452 ​​m) and the Lom (406 m) in the southwest, to the east Lipový vrch (374 m). In 1685 Leopold I sold the crown lords of Kruschowitz and Pürglitz to Ernst Joseph Count von Waldstein . In 1731 Johann Joseph Graf von Waldstein bequeathed both dominions to his daughter and universal heiress Maria Anna Fürstin zu Fürstenberg , who in 1756 united them with the Nischburg estate to form a family entailment of 400,000 guilders. Today Újezd ​​nad Zbečnem is a resort. At the top of the Berounka loop below Pohořelec, extensive holiday cottage settlements have emerged with a view of the Brdatka cliffs.
