'74 Jailbreak (English for "prison break '74") is an EP released in 1984 by the Australian hard rock band AC / DC . This does not contain any new songs, only songs previously released in Australia with the former lead singer Bon Scott , who died in the spring of 1980.
background
The EP was first released on October 18, 1984 in the United States , Canada and Japan . Producers were Harry Vanda and George Young , who had already produced the first AC / DC albums. The recordings for this album date from 1974 to 1976.
The first track Jailbreak comes from the Australian release of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976) and the remaining four songs from the Australian release of High Voltage (1975).
The song Jailbreak was released as a single and a video was produced for it. In 2003, as part of the AC / DC Remasters series, '74 Jailbreak was re-released.
