  • After the death of the general Aegidius , his son Syagrius (but perhaps also first the commander Paulus ) succeeds him in the Gallo-Roman enclave in northern Gaul (area between Loire and Somme ). He resides in Soissons .
  • Remismund becomes King of the Suebi in the Kingdom of Galicia and ends the confusion of the throne that broke out in 460 after the death of King Maldras.
