5th Royal Bavarian Field Artillery Brigade
The 5th Field Artillery Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .
history
The brigade was established on October 1, 1901, was part of the 5th Division and had its command in Fürth .
The large association was used at the beginning of the First World War as part of the 6th Army on the Western Front.
In the further course of the war, the Deputy General Command of III. Army Corps formed from the command of Artillery Commander No. 5 in accordance with the Ordinance of the War Ministry of February 22, 1917 .
After the end of the war, the command returned home on December 17, 1918, where it was demobilized and finally dissolved in Fürth at the end of December 1918.
