5th Royal Bavarian Cavalry Brigade

The 5th Cavalry Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .

history

The large association was established on October 1, 1890 in Dieuze . On April 1, 1901, she changed her number and was renamed the 3rd Cavalry Brigade. With the renumbering, the brigade moved to Nuremberg .

The brigade was used at the beginning of the First World War as part of the 6th Army as part of the Bavarian Cavalry Division on the Western Front.
