Eduard Georg Freiherr von Crailsheim (born January 16, 1865 in Reichenhall , † May 8, 1915 near Krakinow , Lithuania ) was a Bavarian major general .

Eduard was the son of the Bavarian Forestry Council Maximilian-Friedrich Freiherr von Crailsheim (1837-1896) and his wife Sophia, née Freiin Tucher von Simmelsdorf (1839-1871).

Military career

After visiting the cadet corps Crailsheim occurred on August 5, 1882 as Portepeefähnrich in the 2nd Lancers "king" of the Bavarian army and became the end of March 1885 second lieutenant . Crailsheim married Karoline Freiin Tucher von Simmelsdorf on September 24, 1900 in Nuremberg. The two daughters Karoline (* 1901) and Elisabeth (* 1902) emerged from the marriage.
