10th Royal Bavarian Infantry Brigade
The 10th Infantry Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .
history
The large unit was established on April 1, 1871 as an occupation brigade in Metz and formed as of October 1, 1890 as the 10th Infantry Brigade. From 1901 until its dissolution in 1919, the command was in Bayreuth .
In 1914 the brigade was part of the 5th Division . You were subject to the following units:
- 7th Infantry Regiment "Prince Leopold" in Bayreuth
- 19th Infantry Regiment “King Viktor Emanuel III. of Italy ” in Erlangen
- District Command Bayreuth
- District command yard
The brigade was used at the beginning of the First World War as part of the 6th Army on the Western Front.
