Empire of China
- The Chinese General Yang Jiang , who overthrew the Northern Qi Dynasty on behalf of the Northern Zhou Dynasty in 577 , eliminated the heirs of the last emperor of the Zhou Dynasty after the death in 580 and established the Sui Dynasty himself . As emperor he calls himself Wen Di. This ends the time of the Southern and Northern Dynasties .
Empire of the Gök Turks
