Adam Hall Group has as its corporate purpose the manufacture and sale of products for the entertainment and event industry, as well as the manufacture and sale of fittings and accessories for transport cases, based in Neu Anspach in the Hochtaunus district in Hesse. In 2016 Adam Hall GmbH took 3rd place in the ranking of the top-selling German companies in the musical instrument and music equipment industry, and is named as a global player in the pro audio, lighting and event industry as well as in music retailers.
history
In 1975 Adam Hall began manufacturing and selling robust flightcase fittings in the garage and founded Adam Hall Supplies Ltd. in Southend-on-Sea , Essex, England.
One of his clients at the time, David John Kirby, toured Germany with his UK band. He not only played the bass there, but also took care of repairs, tinkered with effects for sound and light, updated the equipment and was responsible for management. After five years of touring, the band broke up and in 1980 Kirby and Adam Hall founded Adam Hall GmbH in Oberlauken, Hessen ( Weilrod municipality ) to develop and sell fittings for flight cases and parts for speaker systems in Germany. His company grew rapidly and also started manufacturing and distributing pro audio products. David John Kirby became managing director of Adam Hall GmbH in 1980.
After moving to Usingen for the first time in 1983 , they moved into larger premises in Neu-Anspach in 1990 .
Adam Hall left Adam Hall GmbH and Adam Hall ltd in 1993 as part of a buyout . David Kirby took over the majority of the shares, and the management of Adam Hall ltd. In 1998, the company put the B2B webshop online. In 2008 the move to Daimlerstrasse followed in order to bundle all activities there. Adam Hall GmbH's new European logistics center is around 20,000 square meters in size. It comprises a warehouse of 6,500 square meters plus 1,000 square meters for value added services and 2,500 square meters on 3 floors for administration and a showroom.
After 33 years at the helm, David Kirby gave up management in 2013 as part of the succession plan. Markus Jahnel and Alexander Pietschmann became the new managing directors of the Adam Hall Group and took over company shares as part of a buyout.
David Kirby remained with the company as Executive Chairman and Managing Director.
Adam Hall GmbH expanded to Asia in 2014 and founded Adam Hall Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore and opened showrooms in Singapore and Barcelona in 2015. In 2018 Adam Hall North America Inc. was founded in Riverdale. The LD Systems Maui P900 PA system was created in collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio.
In 2018, around 24 million euros were invested in the construction of a new experience center with an area of 7,600 square meters, as well as in the expansion of logistics with an area of 5,600 square meters and a storage capacity of 14,000 square meters. 10,000 pallet spaces and 17,000 container spaces are available in the automatic small parts warehouse. The new service center covers 400 square meters. A 6,500 square meter photovoltaic system will be installed at the company headquarters. With its facade, the Experience Center is reminiscent of the housing of an audio loudspeaker from Adam Hall's brand LD Systems and includes offices, laboratories, showrooms and a theater / concert hall for live performances and product presentations with space for 800 spectators.
If you are a music lover you will find a small private rock 'n' roll museum with utensils, photos, books and instruments by u. a. the Beatles , Slash , Michael Jackson and loans from Eric Clapton or Joe Bonamassa .
The Adam Hall Academy also opened in June 2018, where seminars and workshops take place in cooperation with the DEAplus training provider.

Research and Development
The company invests in research and development of new products and technologies. The Experience Center is essential for further technical development. The integrated area for research and development in the other half of the Experience Center houses a low-reflection acoustics measuring room, various endurance and climate test benches, a light measuring laboratory and sufficient space for model making and 3D prototyping. engagement
The company supports young talents, bands, schools and clubs through “equipment sponsoring” and other investments.
In March 2019 it supported in _A310_Zero-G Zero-G Airbus A310 with audio and spotlights products the World Club Dome of BigCityBeats .
In June 2020, as part of the “ Night of Light ” initiative to save the event and cultural industry during the COVID-19 crisis, BigCityBeats and the Adam Hall Group are organizing a virtual special edition of the World Club Dome in the Adam Hall Experience Center with Paul van Dyk , Bothered but Geil , Milk & Sugar and much more.
