There are all kinds of monsters, thieves and magicians in the series. In addition to the main character Aladdin, the Dschinn Dschinni takes up a central element , who with his crazy nature and his magical ability to transform is responsible for numerous swipes and allusions to real pop culture and is considered a popular figure in the series. The approximately half-hour episodes are mostly completed stories, but the plot of the series builds on one another.
main characters
- Aladdin : He is the main character in the series, a young man who was orphaned at an early age and has since made his way through life as a beggar and thief until he fell in love with Jasmine. He is brave, upright, adventurous and extremely clever, but he tends to be arrogant as well as to inferiority complexes due to his origin.
- Genie : He's a genie from a magic lamp that once fell into Aladdin's hands. This gave him freedom and the two became good friends, which is why he returned to him after a short trip. He still has strong magical powers that are often useful in sticky situations. His character is extroverted and sensitive, but mostly dominated by a contagious good mood.
- Abu : Abu is a little monkey and Aladdin's best friend. He has been friends with him for years and lived with him on the streets of Agrabah. Although he has a weakness for gold and jewels, he is also reliable and selfless.
- Jasmin : She is the princess Agrabah and the daughter of the somewhat naive sultan. She is now in a relationship with Aladdin and has numerous adventures with him. She is often accompanied by her tiger Rajah , who, like the overzealous captain of the palace guards, Razoul, tends to protect her.
- Iago : This parrot was once Jafar's pet and henchman, but he broke up with him and made friends with the group of heroes. He's sarcastic, selfish, and cowardly, but if need be, others can rely on him. Unlike Abu, he can speak fluently.
- Carpet : The flying carpet, often simply called carpet or Persian , has human characteristics and is primarily used by Aladdin as a friend and object of flight.
The dangerous young magician and necromancer Mogelrath , the power-hungry but simple-minded El Fatal , the meticulous Greek technical genius Mechanicles with a cleaning and control craze , the sinister young witch Sadira , who has one eye on Aladdin, turn out to be frequently recurring villains and villains and now wants to turn off Jasmin, as well as Morgana , an Egyptian cat woman. Furthermore, the mermaid Saleen , who also tries again and again to bring Aladdin under her control, the gold-greedy goblin Kefier and the clumsy thief Amin Damula.
