Alban-Marc Lafont (born January 23, 1999 in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso ) is a French football goalkeeper of Burkinabe descent. The French U21 international is under contract with Fiorentina and plays on loan at FC Nantes .
Career
societies
Lafont started his career at AS Lattoise and joined the youth team at Toulouse FC in 2014 . He has been a member of the first team there since November 2015. On November 28, 2015, he made his Ligue 1 debut in a 2-0 home win against OGC Nice at the age of 16 . This makes him the youngest goalkeeper ever to appear in the French league. In the 2016/17 season , Lafont was the regular goalkeeper of Toulouse and played 36 of the 38 league games. In the 2017/18 season he was used in every league game for the full season.
For the 2018/19 season Lafont moved to the Italian first division club Fiorentina , with whom he signed a five-year contract. He will play on loan at FC Nantes for the 2019/20 season .
National team
Lafont made his debut on February 18, 2015 in a 2-1 win against Switzerland for the U16 team of the French Football Association . Since then, he has played in the youth national teams of the French Football Association , for which he has so far been used 28 times.
