Alexander Frisch (born September 12, 1975 in Hilden ) is a former German basketball player . He works as a judge in Berlin and is also a television commentator for basketball broadcasts on Eurosport (since 2008) and Telekom Basketball (since 2015).

Life

Frisch played for TuS Lichterfelde in the 2nd Bundesliga and in the 1995/96 and 1996/97 seasons with a double license for the first division club Alba Berlin . In 1997 he was in the team of Alba for the first German championship title when they were able to replace the previous series and record champions Bayer Giants Leverkusen . In addition, he made the double with Alba and won the title in the cup , which was also Alba’s first success in this competition. After a season in the Ruhr area with the Ruhr Devils , he moved to the Rhine in Rhöndorf . With the sale of the first division license to Frankfurt , Frisch played on the Main in the 1999/2000 season and won the German Cup with the Skyliners . He then played for the MBC from Weißenfels ; In February 2002 they separated and Frisch played the season in Tübingen to the end. Then he was active for the BG 74 in Göttingen in the second division. After health problems he ended his active career with the Magics from Düsseldorf near his hometown in the 2003/04 season.

As a commentator on basketball games, Frisch has been with the Eurosport broadcaster since 2008 and with Telekom Basketball since 2015 . Frisch worked as a youth trainer during his law studies in Göttingen and has a B license. His main occupation was as a lawyer, then as a judge at the Social Court in Berlin . At the Berlin Basketball Association he is a board member for competitive sports.
