Alexander Weise (* 1974 in Datteln ) is a German actor .

Life

During his school days, Weise trained as a C church musician in Recklinghausen . After studying German and Ev. Theology and participation in independent theater groups, he discovered acting for himself and began studying in 1997 at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum . This was followed by engagements at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under the directorships of Leander Haussmann and Matthias Hartmann and at the Schauspielhaus Graz (2001–2004) under the directorship of Matthias Fontheim .

In 2005, numerous guest and permanent engagements followed at German theaters, including the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Staatstheater Stuttgart , the Schauspiel Bonn , the Theater Ingolstadt , the Theater Erlangen , the Volksbühne Berlin , the Maxim Gorki Theater , the Staatstheater Dresden , the Theater and Orchester Heidelberg , in the Sophiensaelen Berlin or at the Metropoltheater (Munich) , and since 2016 Residenztheater Munich in the staging of Die Räuber , directed by Ulrich Rasche .
