Alexandra Gennadjewna Kustowa ( Russian Александра Геннадьевна Кустова , English Alexandra Kustova ; born August 26, 1998 in Magadan ) is a Russian ski jumper .
Career
Kustowa made her international debut in December 2010 in a Continental Cup in Finnish Rovaniemi with rank 35. On 15 January 2011 took them as 25 in Braunlage their first COC points. In the same month she competed at the Junior World Championships in Otepää and finished eleventh. A year later she finished only 44th in the individual and ninth and last place in the team at the Junior World Championships in Erzurum . At the Nordic Junior World Championships 2013 in Liberec she was able to do better again and was 21st in the individual and sixth with the Russian team. After the Junior World Championship, she achieved her first top ten placements in the Continental Cup in March 2013. In the overall ranking of the 2012/13 season , she finished seventh.
On January 3, 2014, she made her World Cup debut on the Sneschinka in Tchaikovsky, Russia , but clearly missed the second round in 44th place. It wasn't until January 18 that she got her first World Cup points with 24th place in Zaō, Japan . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2014 in Predazzo , Italy , she finished 27th in the individual and sixth place in the team competition. On September 20 and 21, 2014, she made her debut in Almaty in the Summer Grand Prix , where she scored her first points with places 15 and 18. In the 2014/15 season , she improved her best individual World Cup placement to 19th place, which she achieved on January 10, 2015 in Sapporo . At the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival 2015 in Tschagguns , she took 15th place in the individual competition on the Mittlere Schanze. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2015 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, she was 21st in the individual and won the silver medal in team jumping together with Darja Gruschina , Marija Jakowlewa and Sofja Tichonowa .
At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râșnov , Romania, Kustowa was 27th in the individual competition. On December 11, 2016, she achieved her best individual placement in the World Cup jumping in Nizhny Tagil in eleventh place. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2017 in Park City, Utah , she finished 29th in the individual and seventh with the Russian team.
In the 2017/18 season , she took second place with the Russian team in the first two team competitions in the women's World Cup in Hinterzarten and three in Zaō . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2018 in Kandersteg , Switzerland , she took 13th place in the individual competition. In the team competition she repeated her success from 2015 and won the silver medal together with Xenija Kablukowa , Lidija Jakowlewa and Sofja Tichonowa . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she started as an Olympic athlete from Russia and took 24th place in the individual competition on the normal hill .
On December 2, 2018, she reached her first top ten placement in individual singles in Lillehammer with fifth place. At the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld in Tirol , she was 35th in the individual and took fifth place with the Russian women's team.
