action
The film is mainly about Matt Stifler, the little brother of Steve Stifler, one of the characters in the previous American Pie films. Matt is eager to get into the family business of making pornographic films. Matt and friends play a prank on the band students , called bandies, during their senior graduation ceremony by spraying pepper spray into the mouthpieces of the wind instruments . Suddenly, Matt finds a tubular object labeled "Picardo". It appears to be a dildo . He tries hard not to be discovered, but he slips on drum sticks. He is discovered, but escapes. Then he realizes that pepper spray has gotten onto his genital organs . The band members begin to play " Pomp and Circumstance " but have to stop because of the effects of the pepper spray. During the excitement, a student falls down, pulls the curtain down, revealing Stifler, who, with his boxer shorts down, is looking for cooling for his genital area at a water dispenser. Elyse Houston, the conductor, is just as shocked as the entire hall audience.
She accuses Stifler of being responsible for the destruction of her gig and that he always gets away with being the best football player in school. Matt's psychologist, Chuck Sherman ("The Sherminator"), decides that it would make sense for Stifler to visit the band camp in the hope that he would make friends there and not follow in his much-hated brother's footsteps. While arguing with his friends, Matt tells them that Steve's boyfriend, Jim, was hanging out with a nymphomaniac from the bandcamp. He also claims that everything that is done in this band camp is sex . He cites Elyse as an example because she is the owner of what appears to be a dildo. So Matt decides to secretly film the "Bandies" to impress Steve. He buys a huge, expensive assortment of spy cams and video equipment and buys it with the " delivery tomorrow" option .
As Matt records the various events at the camp, he makes friends with some of the band members at his school, including a geek whose ingenious robot Matt also uses to hitch up. He even falls in love with Elyse, who tried to be Matt's girlfriend in eighth grade but quit after Matt listed himself as "Stiffmeister" again. So Matt has nothing but his movies because his former friends don't want anything to do with him anymore.
After Matt spoke to Mr. Levenstein (Jim's father), the “MACRO” of the camp, because he wasn't wearing his newbie hat and using indecent words, he found out that his brother Steve's friends didn't like him at all. Levenstein believes that people want to like Matt, but he makes it very difficult for them. This is confirmed to him after he later asks Sherman: “Didn't anyone really like my brother?” He doesn't answer, but nods barely noticeably. Matt leaves the room with an odd expression on his face.
One evening there is a soft drink party in the camp. Matt and his roommate pour alcohol into the slush machine to get the "brides" drunk. Unfortunately, the plan backfires, and a friend even tells him that he once had sex with an oboe. That same evening, Matt did it with an oboe - and promptly got stuck. As it turns out afterwards, the "oboe sex" was just a gag of his friend.
Matt's plan to win the trophy for Elyse also backfired. He fills the juice of the rivals with laxatives. Two of Matt's friends don't like their juice and secretly swap the barrels. So Elyses Band had to throw up during the performance.
When he gets home, Matt finds out that his brother isn't as great or cool as he once thought he was and that following in his footsteps isn't a very good idea. So he deletes all of the videos he recorded at the camp. He even enlisted the help of the band members to give Elyse a concert and to get a scholarship to a university. After the screening of the band, the director of the university explains that Elyse will receive the scholarship because the competitors had copied an existing work from the "Tall Oak". The plan succeeds, and in the end, Elyse forgives Matt, and the two of them may have sex (uncredited). Elyse explains to Matt that “Picardo” is the shell of a piccolo and not, as suspected, a dildo. This, of course, is a nod to Michelle Flaherty's famous statement (from American Pie ) that she has had a sexual experience with a flute before.
