Office Balster

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The office of Balster was a royal Prussian domain office that was formed in 1734. The non-contiguous administrative area was in what was then the Dramburg district of Neumark in the Mark Brandenburg , from 1816 in the Dramburg district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . It is now in the Powiat Drawski in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship . The official seat was in Balster (today Biały Zdrój ). The office of Balster was dissolved around 1840.

history

On November 4, 1734, the prince-elector and king in Prussia, Friedrich Wilhelm I , bought the possessions of the (then) colonel (and later field marshal) Friedrich Leopold von Geßler (1688–1762) in the Dramburg district of Neumark for Prince August Wilhelm and formed from them the office of Balster. In 1737 he exchanged it with the Amt Waltersdorf , which belonged to Crown Prince Friedrich (later Friedrich II. ). He incorporated the office of Waltersdorf into the rule of Königs Wusterhausen . The official seat was in the village of Balster. In the district reform of 1816, the district of Dramburg and the district of Schivelbein were transferred to the administrative district of Köslin and thus to the province of Pomerania .

On Trinity 1822, the Balster office was leased again. For Balster, the size of the two farms is 2862 acres and 164 square rods of fields, 18 acres and 103 square rods of gardens, 222 acres and 60 square rods of meadows, 111 acres and 52 square rods of shepherds, and 219 acres and 70 square rods of water and open land. The sizes for Ankrow are: 775 acres and 142 square rods of arable land, 6 acres and 67 square rods of gardens, 48 acres and 4 square rods of meadows, and 40 acres and 70 square rods of herding. From 1836 it is referred to in the handbook on the royal Prussian court and state as the rent office and is practically dissolved. From 1839 the rent offices Balster, Draheim and Sabin in Tempelburg ( Czaplinek ) were administered jointly. In 1859 the term "Rentamt Balster" no longer appears.
